Do you sell my data?
No. Simply Finance has no ads and does not sell personal data. The working ledger stays on your device. Optional sync relays can see routing and operational metadata, but finance records are end-to-end encrypted before they leave the device.
How is Simply Finance priced?
Core tracking and budgets are free to use. Full Version is a one-time $4.99 in-app purchase that unlocks Sync and detailed Reports. Optional managed relay hosting from SimplySync Cloud is billed separately; the built-in relay and self-hosting remain available.
Does Simply Finance sync with my bank like Monarch?
No. Simply Finance has no bank connection by design. You log transactions manually in a few seconds, which means no aggregator fee, no broken feeds, and nothing readable on a server. If automatic bank sync is essential to you, Monarch is the better fit.
Can I import my Monarch transaction history?
Yes. Export your transactions from Monarch, then choose Monarch under Import from Another App. Simply Finance shows a read-only preview and skips duplicates before adding a copy to your local ledger.
